THE BRAND ,THE WOMAN
Founder Khadija Elfayez opened the Oya Jewelry store in 2018 becoming an instant trailblazer in the field, by merging beautiful heritage design concepts and manufacturing technics with modern features that add comfort and longevity to the every piece, her brand OYA has revolutionized the way people view and wear middle eastern jewelry.
Khadija was born in Nazareth on the 19th of may between the cold and hot climates, and started her way studying jewelry design in Nazareth and established the OYA brand. she is now a working mother of 3 , her vision - to make original heritage designs that will be accessible for the modern women everywhere.
The jewelry box is an essential cultural symbol for the eastern woman and for us the OYA woman is a strong ,feminine ,elegant , colorful and bold women who is not afraid of having the spotlight on her .
we love to see how different women wear our designs in different unique ways that they come up with to match their personality ,Khadija strongly believes in the power of expressing ones self through her style, and the jewelry pieces are the magic that reveals the unlimited power that distinguishes each women.

THE MABROMA STORY
The MABROMA is a unique offering found in our collections, and is the starting point of the Oya journy.
Oya started out making only Mabroma designes, the origin story of the Mabroma is that in simpler times a working arab woman would save her money by buying a gold wire bracelet and wearing it to keep an eye on her money at all times . every time she saved more money she would buy another bracelet , some women had alot of bracelets on so it wasn't comfrotable for them to wear ,thats when the idea of atteching them to each other came about and the Mabroma (meaning in arabic loops around) was the Premium offering .
It is in honor of the working arabic women that we continue this amazing design concept in an effort to spread empowerment and love for women everywhere.
